Anticorrosion treatment of building steel structure
In general, steel structure with protective layer is not rust or corrosion is slow, life can reach some buildings for hundreds of years, when some conditions, steel structure has the corrosion speed amazing, in a few years or a shorter period of time can cause damage to buildings. Corrosion process is generally: steel structure protection layer produce micro crack and hole, protective layer spalling, harmful medium invasion; steel structure corrosion; steel structure serious corrosion; steel structure performance reduction, structure or component damage. Its anti-corrosion treatment can generally be considered from two aspects:
1, according to the corrosion level to take measures
Corrosion of building steel structure can be divided into strong, medium, weak, no four grade.
In the strong corrosion (a large number of CO2, SiO2, H2S in industrial environment) under the condition of material corrosion speed, components must be taken in isolation, surface protection; medium corrosion conditions, materials have certain corrosion, can be used to improve the weight of its own members, or by simple surface protection.
In weak corrosion conditions, materials the corrosion of slow, but still need to take some measures; no corrosion conditions, material corrosion is very slow or no obvious traces of corrosion, the fittings can not take protective measures.
2, key link processing
Primary treatment: steel structure anticorrosion base to qualified, specific requirements should comply with the design drawings, such as the use of zinc rich epoxy paint, alkyd enamel, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, zinc etc..
Temperature and humidity: coating when ambient temperature and relative humidity products should meet the requirements, environmental temperature should be 5-38 degrees, relative humidity should be less than 85%, no condensation water surface coating. No rain within 4h after painting.
Coating thickness: should meet the design requirements, the same day the use of spray plating material configuration, and shall not add diluent.
Coating performance: to consider the effects of various harmful media on the steel structure, select the suitable working environment of the spray coating, to ensure the quality of anti-corrosion.
