Derusting and painting of steel structure
The derusting and coating of steel structure is a work that is easy to be neglected at present and is also a weak link in the construction of steel structure. This phenomenon is not correct, has a great influence on the construction quality of steel structure, because qualified derusting and painting quality directly affect the future use of the steel structure during the maintenance cost, also affect the service life of steel structure engineering, structural safety and fire resistance time when the fire occurs (fireproof coating). Thought the root causes of this phenomenon lies in the lack of understanding of the importance of staff of the contracting unit for painting work, coupled with the lack of quality responsibility, and ultimately lead to coating engineering quality bent solely on profit, often appear problem. Therefore, supervision engineers must attach great importance to rust prevention and painting work, strict inspection and acceptance of each process, which is the basis and guarantee for ensuring the quality of steel structure coating.
The quality of coating on steel structure engineering, should do the following work: (L) the derusting quality of the steel parts according to the design requirements of the grade of strict acceptance; (2) check the coating raw material quality certificate, fireproof coating should also check the approval certificates of the fire department; (3) completely remove the component surface before coating dirt, oil and other debris; (4) coating construction should be carried out in a clean, dry environment, temperature, humidity and meet the specification requirements; (5) the number of times brushing and coating thickness to meet the design requirements; (6) the coating damage to do meticulous treatment, ensure the quality of coating; (7) seriously check the adhesion of the coating; (8) strict visual inspection, ensure the quality of the coating shall conform to specifications and standards.
